The same feature has also been incorporated into the new Apple Watch Series 8 watches, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra.

A few days after the announcement, Xiaomi as usual launched the pair of 12T devices for sale on its official AliExpress store. These will be offered at a starting price of $549 and $749 respectively, with the first buyers enjoying a Redmi Watch 2 Lite and also a price discount for a limited time.

Alongside the new flagship models with a 200 megapixel camera, Xiaomi also revealed a new and much more modest device: the Redmi A1+, an entry-level device that also has a modest price – only 89 dollars.
