Today, Tuesday, the Iraq International Exhibition for Food, Beverage and Packaging Technology was launched.
Director General of the Agricultural Investments Department in the Ministry of Agriculture, Iyad Al-Bolani, told the (INA): “Holding such exhibitions for food industries and packaging machines is an important step to recognize the Iraqi private sector’s arrival at levels that can compete with neighboring countries and countries of the region in displaying The final product is presented to the consumer in the best possible way,” indicating that “the nature of presenting the product in the distinctive box, the distinctive size, and ease of carrying, as well as the nature of the presentation, are all factors that attract the consumer, as sometimes the material is very good, but the nature of its presentation and marketing is not good, and therefore this is an opportunity to present the best products with the best offer from Through the packaging and through the nature of preserving the food item, whether it is in cardboard, glass, or plastic containers.”
He added, “There are different and wonderful offers with the participation of Iraqi companies and other companies, and it is an opportunity for integration in work, especially since there are pioneering companies specialized in this field, and there are companies that possess the raw material, but need these materials, and thus the possibility of cooperation and coordination between our Iraqi private sector and the Arab sector.” Or international in this field.
In turn, the relations and media officer of Sorouh Exhibition Organizing Company, Osama Majeed, told the (INA), “The activities of the Food, Beverage, and Packaging Technology Exhibition began today,” noting that “the name of this exhibition is from companies specializing in foodstuffs, products, and packaging technology.”
He pointed out that “these exhibitions establish partnerships and companies that are originally present in Iraq, and also establish commercial exchanges between upcoming companies and between Iraqi companies,” noting that “more than 80 companies came to this exhibition and presented their products, some of which have agencies in Iraq and others “He seeks to enter the Iraqi market.”
He continued, “The Iraqi market is a very promising and large market, and today it needs a combination of these experiences, as the culture of exhibitions is very important as it establishes future partnerships and thus stimulates the economic movement.”
