The Governor of Al-Wajh, Shuja bin Muhammad Al-Shanbari, inaugurated yesterday the activity of the walking initiative under the slogan “Walk 30”, which is organized by the Education and School Health Committee in the Healthy Cities Program in Al-Wajh, in cooperation with a number of government agencies in the governorate, at Al-Khazzan Walk.
The initiative aimed to promote public health, spread the culture of walking, and introduce the people, visitors and residents of Al-Wajh Governorate to the importance of walking for 30 minutes a day, raising the rate of walking practitioners to maintain the health and safety of community members, and promote health awareness.
