Lautaro extended his contract with Inter

Inter Milan won the Italian Serie A title last season. Lautaro Martinez played a major role in winning this title. Inter has extended the contract with the Argentinian, the hero behind the team’s success.

According to the new contract, Lautaro will stay at Inter for another three years. The Italian club signed a contract with him until June 2029. They confirmed the contract extension in a statement on Monday.

Earlier, Inter had a contract with Lautaro until June 2026. The World Cup winning player joined Inter Milan from Argentinian club Racing in 2018. Lautaro has been with the Italian club since then.

So far, Lautaro has scored 129 goals in 282 matches for the Italian club. He was also selected as the best player of the 2023-24 season by scoring the highest 24 goals in the league last season.

The 26-year-old footballer has won two Serie A, Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup in Inter’s jersey so far. In 2022, the national team got the taste of winning the World Cup for Argentina. In the last Copa America, he showed great performance and won the Golden Ball by scoring 5 goals.
