908.2 hectares are covered by the lava of the new volcano that arose in the Cumbre Vieja complex, on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, which has been erupting since last September 19th. Copernicus, the Earth observation program of the European Union, has made it known, explaining that in the last 24 hours the lava has advanced by 1.9 hectares.
