Laval | Shooting kills two and starts a fire

Two young men were injured in a shooting that would have started a fire in a residence in Laval, during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday.

The two victims, whose life is not in danger, were hit by bullets. They are 19 and 20 years old and are known to the Service de police de Laval.

The shooting took place in the Chomedey neighborhood.


Bullet holes were visible in a window of the residence.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

Later that night, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Montreal in connection with the case. He is expected to appear on Wednesday.
