The opinion of the reform to the Judicial Branch will be discussed next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly even Thursday, announced the president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) in the Chamber of Deputies, Ricardo Monreal (Morena).
“It was approved that we will have two sessions next Sunday. The installation session where the Report of the President of the Republic and the new session period is installed. And the second session will only be for the publicity of the judicial reform, contained in the corresponding opinion.”
“The sessions we will hold will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week in order to offer a broad debate on the content of the 16 articles of the Constitution that are modified in this matter,” detailed the Morenoist after concluding the first meeting of the Jucopo.
He added that on Sunday the parliamentary coordinators will have another meeting, possibly during the session of General Congress or after it to start the second ordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies.
He emphasized that the atmosphere with the opposition is friendly and there is a spirit of mutual respect, and that is one of the reasons why the Jucopo.
Regarding the rest of the opinions on the constitutional reform initiatives that the Executive sent and that form the so-called plan C, Monreal He mentioned that “the idea” is that in the first two weeks of September they can review three of the 18 opinions.
