Eric Samuel Jarvis will spend nearly four years in prison after being found guilty of sharing federal information with a drug trafficking organization.
Jarvis, a attorney McAllen’s defense attorney admitted to using a cell phone and the Public Access to Electronic Court Records (PACER) database to further drug trafficking activities between July 2017 and May 2021.
He also admitted receiving payments from the organization to represent accomplices in matters penalties.
Jarvis will also be required to serve two years of supervised release after his release from prison.
