The lawyer seeks the annulment of the reparation agreements since “they were carried out in a deceptive manner in favor of the company CICSA and Grupo Carso.”

The victims seeking nullity are David, who was diagnosed with two broken ribs, but after a second review, five were detected; Raúl, to whom the authorities did not recognize the nails that were placed before the fracture of one of his legs and a 13-year-old minor, who suffered head trauma.

Benitez maintained that the Prosecutor’s Office had a modus operandi to reduce the payment of reparation for the damage to the victims.

“Through the doctors themselves they attended to the victims, where they ruled that the injuries were less serious or that those injuries were not correctly certified and that is where they quantified the full reparation for the damage.

“You can see the fraudulent act with which the authorities behaved; the deception is in plain sight, it is palpable, it is real,” he said at a press conference.

The legal defender also indicated the creation of an independent Victims Commission made up of people affected by the collapse of Line 12, the train crash on Line 3 of the Metro, the News Divine, among other cases that he has represented.

The lawyer pointed out that he will insist on the appearance before the Public Ministry of Florecia Serranía, general director of the Metro at the time of the incident, since “it failed to maintain Line 12 and despite carrying out a review with drones, the collapse was not prevented.” .

Likewise, Benitez affirmed that it is contemplated to seek the revocation of the mandate of Ernestina Godoy, who is in the process of re-election in the capital’s Congress.

However, so far the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM) only develops the call for the revocation of mayors and deputies in the city. In addition, since it is not a popularly elected position, this instrument does not apply to the head of the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office, 117 victims have already signed a reparation agreement and only 12 remain pending.
