The Specialized Room of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) modified the period in which the governor of Campeche, Layda Sansoresmust remain in the National Registry of Persons Sanctioned in Matters of Political Gender Violencefor committing this conduct against deputies and former deputies of the AT.
Layda Sansores must remain on that registry for two years, starting from when the sentence approved in a public session becomes final. The original term was four years.
The Plenary also determined that a journalist and two media outlets did not commit LPG, because their comments or publications were made in accordance with freedom of expression.

In the case of four collaborators of a digital media outlet, no responsibility was found to have been proven in the reported events.
In the case of five journalists, it was determined that they did incur this infraction and fines equivalent to 7,697.60 pesos were applied (in two cases); 6 thousand 735.40 pesos (in two cases) and 4 thousand 811 pesos.
It was also determined that it was registered in the VPG registry of the INE for a period of one year and eight months (in two cases); one year six months (in two cases) and one year 10 months.
