Lazarus Christodoulopoulos made history! The Greek forward was announced by Herakles and can hold the “distinction” of being the only player to have worn the jerseys of all the “big” teams of the metropolitan area (Panathinaikos, AEK, Olympiakos in order) as well as those of Thessaloniki (PAOK, Aris, and now Herakles).
Thus, the “Old Man” becomes the seventh Greek station in the career of the 37-year-old winger (he also played for Atromitos). Lazarus Christodoulopoulos signed a contract for 1.5 years with Herakles.

Lazarus Christodoulopoulos was born in Diavata, Thessaloniki (December 19, 1986) and plays as a winger and attacking midfielder.
Herakles-Furnos Veneti is his seventh stop in Greece, after PAOK, Olympiakos, AEK, Panathinaikos, Atromitos, and Aris.
In 2012, he took the step abroad to Italy, where for four years he played for Bologna F.C. 1909, Hellas Verona, and UC Sampdoria.
In 2016, he returned to Greece for AEK, winning the championship in his second year and having a total of 83 appearances with 24 goals and 10 assists. He was automatically named the best player of the year in 2018.
He then moved to Olympiakos, where in two years he won a double and had 34 appearances with 10 goals. At Panathinaikos, he recorded 131 appearances with 25 goals and 13 assists.
-With the Greek national team, he has 35 appearances with one goal, while he also wore the jersey of the U19 and U21 National Teams with another 25 appearances and ten goals.
-Overall, he has won three Greek championships and twice won the Greek Cup,
-In the Super League, he has 276 appearances with 45 goals, seven appearances in the Champions League group stage, and another ten in the qualifiers of the same competition. In SERIE A, he played in 77 matches and scored five goals and 9 assists, in the Greek Cup, he played in 35 matches scoring 18 goals(!).
