Rawalpindi: The Pakistan cricket team is now preparing for the Test tour of Sri Lanka after winning the series against the West Indies. Following the Australia-Sri Lanka Test series, Pakistan will play two Tests in Sri Lanka. The competition will start on the 16th of next month.

Meanwhile, Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali’s’ performance during a training match ahead of the tour of Sri Lanka sparked laughter among cricket fans and teammates. Hasan Ali approached the field umpire after the LBW rejected his appeal and tried to force him to lift his index finger. Hasan Ali’s appeal came after he hit a full length ball player’s pad against Salman Ali. However, the field umpire ruled that Salman Ali was not out.

Hasan Ali then ran to the umpire, grabbed his index finger jokingly and tried to lift it. The two burst out laughing and their teammates smiled.

Pakistan recently announced an 18-member squad for the tour of Sri Lanka. Shahid Mehmood and Sajid Khan have been replaced by Sarfraz Ahmed Naseem Khan.

The series will also witness the return of spinner Yasir Shah, who played a pivotal role in Sri Lanka’s victory over Sri Lanka by 24 wickets in the 2105 series.
