BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that none of the BNP leaders are leaving the country, Awami League leaders and their relatives are leaving the country.

In response to Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader’s statement, Rizvi said, Obaidul Quader is speaking lies like the rain of Shravan out of desperation.

He said these things on Thursday (May 2) during the distribution program of drinking water and saline on behalf of Badda BNP in Dhaka metropolis north among the pedestrians of the city suffering from the intense heat going on all over the country.

He said that despite hundreds of persecutions, BNP leaders are on the streets and will remain on the streets until the fall of the government. The movement will continue until the right of people to vote is established.

This leader of BNP said that by looting various banks including Basic Bank, doing Hallmark scams, looting money in the name of construction of Padma Bridge, Metro Rail, Flyover, they have smuggled that money abroad. They are making second homes in Malaysia, Canada, Australia and sending their wives, children and relatives there.

He said, we are going to jail. I have continued to work on the streets despite the persecution. We will not bow down to any oppression.

Rizvi Ahmed said, Awami League has done nothing for the welfare of workers. On the contrary, when the workers went to agitate for their fair demands, salary demands, salary increase demands, they shot and killed 4 workers. Labor leader Aminul Haque was shot dead by the police. About a thousand workers were killed in Rana Plaza, 100 workers lost their lives in Tazrin Garments, people have not forgotten them.

Referring to the dire situation in the country, he said that drought is going on in the country for a month now, fires are going on, people are suffering from various diseases. But the government did nothing to save the working people. These are chain reactions.

The welfare works done by Shahid Zia including canal digging, plantation, irrigation system, have been stopped by the government. People are not getting water for irrigation in Dinajpur, Thakurgaon. Rizvi blamed this dummy government for everything.

Aminul Haque said that if Shahid Zia’s welfare programs including canal digging and tree planting programs were implemented, then the situation would not have happened today. The Awami government does not care about the fact that the people of Bangladesh are living with binoculars today. Because they are not elected by the people. They are in power at the mercy of foreign masters.

Under the chairmanship of BNP leader Barkat Ali, the health affairs secretary of the party also spoke at this time. Rafiqul Islam, Associate Editor Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, Metropolitan BNP leader VP Shamsul Haque, Anwaruzzaman Anwar, Ataur Rahman Chairman, Mostafizur Rahman Segun, Abdur Razzak and others.
