JAKARTA – Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo leading the commemoration ceremony for National Education Day (Hardiknas) at the Governor’s Office of Central Java, Tuesday (2/5/2023). The ceremony was also the last Hardiknas ceremony led by Ganjar as governor.

On this occasion, Ganjar gave three important points to develop education World in Central Java.

The first point made by Ganjar was that access to education must be more and more equitable, and those who cannot afford it must be assisted by the state. In this case, Ganjar emphasized that easy access to education must be available for all people, without exception.

This is important so that everyone can access education and get equal opportunities to develop their potential.

“Access to education must be more and more evenly distributed and those who cannot afford it must be assisted by the state,” said Ganjar.

During his tenure, Ganjar is known to have made various efforts to create quality education in Central Java. For example, Ganjar made tuition fees free for schools in Central Java. In fact, private schools also did not escape Ganjar’s attention.

Not only that, this PDIP politician is also very concerned about teachers and temporary employees in the educational environment. He even disbursed hundreds of billions to teachers and temporary employees.

The policies made, for example, determine the honorarium of non-permanent teachers according to the regional UMK plus 10 percent. For non-permanent employees, they get rights according to their respective UMK. In the past, they only received IDR 200 thousand, now they get IDR 2.3 million per month or even more.
