jpnn.com – BALI – Bali United coach Stefano ‘Teco’ Cugurra had to rack his brains to deal with the sudden postponement of Liga 1 2023/2024.
Coach Teco said his team would undergo a training camp at Purnama Beach, Gianyar, Bali, to maintain the players’ physical fitness during the long holiday.
“The players’ focus on the competition will be lost. The coaching team will have to give the players longer holidays even though the competition has not yet finished,” said Teco.
The Brazilian coach said that currently the players have good momentum after successfully defeating Persija in their 30th home match on Saturday (30/3).
He hopes that the good momentum will continue when he competes against Persikabo 1973 in the 31st match scheduled for April 4.
“Right now we have good momentum. So it’s better for us to be able to continue playing on April 4 against Persikabo. The situation will definitely be better than having to postpone it for quite a long time,” he said.
