Barracas Central beat Instituto de Córdoba 3 to 2 this Sunday at the Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia stadium and was one step away from qualifying in Zone A of the League Cup, given that it reached the line of Argentinos Juniors in the top of the standings. Barracas won with goals from Alan Cantero, 38 minutes into the first half, and from Lucas Brochero and Miguel Brizuela, against their own goal, in the second half.

Instituto, for its part, was left with no mathematical chance of getting into the top four, since it has 17 units and Independiente appears in fourth place with 22.
