New iPhones
For the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, Apple uses a total of four model numbers: “iPhone15.4”, “iPhone15.5”, “iPhone16.1”, “iPhone16.2”. In the description files that have been released so far, a total of eight unknown model numbers can be found:

It is also possible that Apple will introduce some model variants with their own cellular modem – and these will receive separate model numbers. New Macs
A total of eight new Mac model numbers can be found in the description files of macOS 15.1:
However, the model numbers do not allow any conclusions to be drawn regarding which specific models are involved. It is possible that the model numbers starting with Mac16 are the new MacBook Pro models with the M4 chip, which Apple may bring to market this winter.
