Interviewed in Informativo Sarandí, the lawyer insisted that he is not clear about the fact that the prosecutor Gabriela Fossati called Leal.
Asked if Leal’s position bothered the prosecutor when answering whether he met with Astesiano’s father or not, Camaño clarified that his client acknowledged the existence of that conversation. “Leal never denied that the conversation with Astesiano’s parents existed. A nuisance cannot cause a change in the quality of justice,” said Camaño.
He also said that the nuisance is not a legal figure and cannot cause a change in legal status, which is what he really wants to know now.
“Prosecutors cannot investigate anything, they can only investigate facts that appear to be criminal,” he said.
