Leave the federation and let the Tamil Republic compete alone!

Although the Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party will separate from the Tamil National Federation and compete separately, the other parties will unite and compete as the Tamil National Federation, the partner party of the Tamil National Federation, Blot has clarified.

The Central Working Committee meeting of Sri Lanka Tamil Government Party was held last Sunday. During this, some members insisted that the Sri Lankan Tamil Government Party should contest the local government elections alone.

Speaking to the media after this, Member of Parliament MA Sumanthran said that they are technically investigating issues related to the member parties of the Tamil National Federation competing separately to get more seats.

Earlier, MA Sumanthran, who had commented in the central committee of the party, had said that he had informally talked with the leaders of the partner parties about contesting the local government elections alone and they were in a positive position.

Regarding this issue, the Jaffna district organizer of Blot organization, a partner party of the federation and a former member of the North Provincial Assembly, B. Kajadeepan, gave an opinion to the media.

I came to know about the issue discussed in the Central Committee of Sri Lankan Tamil Government Party by watching the news. Each party is free to decide how to approach the elections. It is the same for the Tamil Nadu Party. However, none of the senior leaders of the Sri Lankan Tamil Government Party have communicated that idea to us yet. Not discussed.

We are constantly trying to strengthen the Tamil National Federation and unite the Tamil people. People are insisting on unity of TNA.

However, there is no need to fear that the Tamil National Federation will be defunct even if the Tamil Government Party unfortunately decides to contest alone. He said that we will continue to work as a Tamil National Federation and contest elections as a Tamil National Federation.
