Beirut: The pagers that exploded in Lebanon have become a mystery. The pagers were allegedly made by Taiwanese electronic company Gold Apollo. But Gold Apollo has clearly denied making these pagers. The company’s founder Hsu Ching-Kuang said without providing any proof that these were made by a Hungarian company. The company’s headquarters are located in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Gold Apollo says that the AR-924 pager was manufactured by BAC Consulting KFT, which is located in Budapest. Gold Apollo said that under the cooperation agreement, BAC can use the trademark of our brand for the sale of pagers in Lebanon and Syria. BAC is responsible for the manufacturing. Hsu said that his company had entered into an agreement with the Hungarian company about three years ago. Hungarian officials on Wednesday rejected Gold Apollo’s statement and said that the company located in Budapest is a business intermediary. It does not have any manufacturing site. Hungary’s State Secretary for International Communications, Zoltan Kovacs, said, ‘The equipment being referred to was never in Hungary.’ In such a situation, the question has become even bigger as to who made the pager that exploded in Lebanon?

Shocking revelation about the Hungarian company

CNN has made even more shocking revelations in its report. It claimed that its reporter reached the address of BAC Consulting KFT given on the website of Gold Apollo. It is located in a residential area in Budapest. The receptionist of the building told that BAC Consulting has taken place at this address. But its people have never been seen. Another woman present there said that she has hardly ever seen anyone coming to work in the building. According to NBC’s report, the company’s CEO Christiana Barsony said that BAC Consulting KFT works with Gold Apollo. But she denied making pagers.

Israel planted bombs in pagers

The New York Times quoted unnamed sources as saying that Israel hid the bombs inside the pagers and added a switch to it, which was later used to explode them remotely. According to the company’s website, Gold Apollo was founded in 1995. Since then it has been making devices through which messages can be sent without the Internet. The company makes many devices including pagers and walkie talkies. In the pictures posted on social media, it is being claimed that the pagers of the AR924 model of Gold Apollo company have exploded.
