A thousand vocational education and training students are expected to attend informative lectures of the Ioannina Traffic Department on road safety and traffic accidents, starting with the Public IEK of Ioannina.
In the context of the first cycle, the conference was attended by 500 students of the Public I.E.K. of Ioannina, while the continuation will be given with the Vocational Apprenticeship Schools and Vocational Training Institutes of the Public Employment Service (D.YP.A.).
This effort is part of the actions implemented by the services of the General Regional Police Directorate of Epirus, with the aim of informing the public, and especially young people, about the thorny issue of traffic accidents.
Besides, ensuring safe traffic conditions for citizens and preventing traffic accidents are a key priority and pursuit of the General Regional Police Directorate of Epirus, as stated in a press release.
The specific action includes a series of lectures, during which special emphasis is given, with the help of appropriate visual material, on the tragic consequences of traffic accidents and ways to prevent them.
