Leeds revive hopes of survival

by time news

Leeds United revived their Premier League survival hopes by snatching the point from a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Monday at Selhurst Park.

Both sides failed to find their rhythm in the first half, but Palace should have opened the scoring when Jean-Philippe Mateta missed two chances in the first half.

Leeds withstood the pressure late in the game but held on to earn a draw which sees them take 34 points from 33 games, five points clear of the relegation zone, despite having played one game from more than Everton, 18th. Palace remain 14th with 38 points in a league dominated by Manchester City.
