Billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly planning to lay off nearly half of Twitter’s workforce.
Subsequently, a case has been registered against the social media in the court in San Francisco.
Bloomberg news agency published the information.
Employees have said that the company’s retrenchment without sufficient notice is against the law.
Mr. Musk wants to cut about 3,700 jobs, sources familiar with the matter said.
He bought Twitter last month for $44 billion.
