An anonymous post on social media claimed that Socrates Famelos did not allocate funds for SYRIZA’s media and that he spent vacation “all of August with his new partner, Dora Tsampazi,” being “guests at Ahtsioglou’s summer house in Pelion for 5 days.” This sparked the announcement from the two political figures about taking legal action.
As reported by “Avgi” and confirmed by their posts, Socrates Famelos and the SYRIZA candidate for the European Parliament, Dora Tsampazi, will seek legal recourse “after the vulgar attack they received from a social media account.”
Dora Tsampazi’s reaction:
“Ultimately, stupidity is indeed invincible. We’ll meet in court. And then you will explain to us who and why put you up to saying such vulgarities.”
Effie Ahtsioglou also reacted to the post:
“You must immediately retract your extremely false statements that involve my name. I reserve the right to exercise any right arising from the law.”
Socrates Famelos’s reaction:
“I strongly protest and call on you to immediately retract your utterly false and defamatory post against me and to make the necessary restoration; otherwise, I will take legal action against you.”
Support for Famelos and Tsampazi from Kasselakis
Stefanos Kasselakis also tweeted in support of S. Famelos and Dora Tsampazi.
“I wholeheartedly support Socrates Famelos against the ignoble attack he received.
I feel the same support and solidarity towards Dora Tsampazi, noting that in her case, they should be twice as careful, as they know what she has gone through.
