Legal Advice to Ban Imran Party: Pak Home Minister information

by time news

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s interior minister has said that legal advice will be taken soon to ban Imran’s party in Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former prime minister Imran Khan Toshakhana has continued to evade court appearances in the bribery case and intimidation of a female judge. Meanwhile, the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakana case.

In this case, when Imran appeared in the Islamabad district court yesterday, more than 10,000 Punjab policemen went to his Jaman Park residence in Lahore. At that time, Imran’s supporters who had gathered there arrested many people. Weapons and petrol bombs were seized from them, they said. In this context, Home Minister Rana Sanaullah, who met the media, said, “The Government will soon consult with the Law Commission to declare the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as a banned group. Terrorists were holed up in Imran’s Jaman Park residence. Weapons and petrol bombs were seized from there. This is enough to declare PTI as a terrorist organization,” he said.
