Legendary actress KPAC Lalita Passed away. He is 74 years old.
Lalita started her journey as a drama actress. Lalitha has acted in many Malayalam films and has acted in many films in Tamil including ‘Kadhaluku Mariyatai’, ‘Paramasivan’, ‘Kiritam’, ‘Alaipayuthey’ and ‘Mamanithan’. Lalita is also the President of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy. She has acted in more than 550 films so far and is the wife of renowned Malayalam director Bharathan. She has won the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for 1991 and 2001 and the Government of Kerala Award four times.

Lalita, who had been suffering from a serious illness since November last year, was admitted to a private hospital and was receiving treatment. After that, when his health improved, his son Siddharth stayed at home in Kochi and rested. Lalita passed away last night (Feb. 22).
Lalita’s funeral is scheduled to take place today at her home in Vadakkancherry. Many South Indian film celebrities are mourning Lalita’s death.
