jpnn.comJAKARTA – Batak singer and songwriter, Jack Marpaung, reportedly died on Sunday (5/1).
The sad news was revealed by musician Posan Tobing through his account on Instagram.
The former Kotak drummer revealed that Jack Marpaung had died at the age of 76.
“Indonesia, especially fans of Batak music, has lost a lot. Today, the Batak music maestro, Ps. Jack Marpaung, passed away,” said Posan Tobing, Sunday (5/1) evening.
“He is the father of @novitadewi, father-in-law of @alexhuta7ulu,” he continued.
Posan Tobing then reminisced about moments together with Jack Marpaung.
He was involved in the Tribute to Jack Marpaung concert with his partner, Bona Eriel.
“My deepest condolences, I hope that the families left behind will always be given fortitude and comfort. Whoever believes in Him will have their reward in Heaven,” continued Posan Tobing.
