Today, the latest edition of League Legends Cricket (LLC) will be launched with the much awaited cricket fans and legends of cricket. Indian Maharajas will face Asia Lions in the opening match at Doha West End Park International Cricket Stadium at 8 pm.
India Maharajas is led by Gautam Gambhir while Asia Lions is led by Shahid Afridi. World Giants, Asia Lions and India Maharajas are the three teams competing for the title. A total of eight games will be played in the competition – six league stage games, followed by an eliminator and final.
Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir will represent India Maharajas. Asia Lions will also feature Muttiah Muralitharan, Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi. The World Giants have an excellent line-up that includes Brett Lee, Jacques Kallis, Ross Taylor, Kevin O’Brien and Shane Watson. Aaron Finch led World Giants are the reigning champions.
