Legislative: for Zemmour, a difficult electoral reconquest

Candidates almost everywhere. For the legislative elections, the first round of which takes place this Sunday, June 12, Reconquest has decided to present itself in 550 constituencies. A show of force for a very recent party which intends to show that, despite Éric Zemmour’s slap in the presidential election, it intends to become a lasting part of the French political landscape. In total, the far-right formation will field 176 candidates from LR, 159 from RN and 215 from civil society, according to its own count. This relative balance is supposed to symbolize “the union of the rights”, Éric Zemmour’s strategic-electoral mantra for years.
