In order to be able to telework 100% in summer, it is necessary that it has been previously agreed or that it is included in collective agreements or company agreements. We can also request it as a measure to reconcile family and work if we have school-age children under 12 years of age.

If we have signed a mixed teleworking agreement with our company, it is possible that we would like to telework 100% in summer, for example from a second residence. For this to be possible it is necessary that it has been previously agreed, or that this possibility is regulated in the collective agreements or company agreements that are applicable. In this sense, there are more and more collective agreements that provide for this possibility.

However, if there is no prior agreement, it will also be possible to request 100% teleworking in the summer for reasons of duly accredited work and family reconciliation. This occurs, for example, when we have school-age children under 12 years of age. In these cases, the request must be made in writing, and the company, after a period of negotiation, must give us an answer.

This answer must be positive if our request is reasonable and proportionate, not only in relation to our needs but also taking into account the organizational and productive needs of the company itself.
