The 15th round in the Bundesliga continued today (Saturday) and in it RB Leipzig maintained its great form and rose at least temporarily to the second place in the table following a 1:2 victory over Werder Bremen. Chassie Alonso and Berkusen continued their recovery with a win over Stuttgart, Hoffenheim without the injured Mons Davor lost to Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin moved above the red line thanks to a win over Cologne.

Werder Bremen – RB Leipzig 2:1

Marco Rosa’s team has not lost since the September national team break and looks great, as they have at least temporarily narrowed the gap from the leading Bayern Munich to only three points and stuck to the top group again. Andre Silva scored the first for the guest with a kick to the right corner of the goal and determined the result of the half. After the break, the hosts came back after a double pass between Christian Gross and Romano Schmid, which ended in the former’s goal. Xaver Schlager restored the advantage to Leipzig in the 70th minute and gave them the victory. Bremen lost a match and dropped to ninth place in the table with 21 points.

Bayer Leverkusen – Stuttgart 0:2

The recovery of Xavi Alonso and Berkusen continued with a second victory in a row, this time over the visitor who went below the red line. Moussa Diaby scored the first with a deflected kick from outside the box, Yonatan Te hit the second from close range. The host rose at least temporarily to the 11th place in the table with her fifth victory of the season, with 18 points in her balance.

Hoffenheim – Wolfsburg 2:1

Without the injured Mons Davor, the Blues were unable to keep the home and recorded their seventh loss of the season, as they drop at least temporarily to tenth place in the table with the same number of points as Leverkusen’s. The wolves got closer to the top spot and temporarily rose to seventh place. It was the host who got on the scoreboard first with a goal by Christoph Baumgartner in the 42nd minute, but an own goal by the Turkish Ozan Kabak at the end of the first half brought the two teams to a tie at the break. Riddle Baum received a wonderful ball in the 56th minute and beat Oliver Bowman on the way to the conversion, which was also the result of the game.
