jpnn.comJAKARTA – Lemkapi Executive Director Edi Hasibuan asked all parties to stop the narrative of pitting Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo and Acting Central Java Governor Nana Sujana against Central Java Governor Candidate Andika Perkasa.

“We ask to stop spreading narratives that pit people against each other and mislead the public. Let’s create a peaceful and safe regional election for Central Java,” said the postgraduate lecturer at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta, in his statement, Thursday (26/9).

According to Edi, his party sees that the current security and social security situation in Central Java is very conducive. All ranks of the National Police and TNI in this area continue to carry out their duties professionally.

He also saw that all stages of the regional elections were running according to a determined schedule.

Edi invited all parties to participate in overseeing and making the regional elections a success in a peaceful and safe manner so that Central Java has a governor chosen by the people.

“We ask all ranks of the National Police and TNI in this region to increase synergy in their duties to provide the best service to all people regardless of their political choice,” said the member of the 2024 Kompolnas committee.

A viral video clip of Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo seems reluctant to shake hands with the Candidate for Governor number 1 of Central Java, General TNI (Ret.) Andika Perkasa, who is also a former TNI Commander.

In the video narrative that went viral on social media, it was stated that Ribut Hari and the Acting Governor of Central Java, Komjen Pol (Ret.) Nana Sudjana, seemed reluctant to accept Andika’s greetings during the Peace Campaign Declaration event at the Central Java KPU Office, Jalan Pahlawan, Semarang on Tuesday (24/9). (tan/jpnn)
