For health reasons, the singer has also cancelled the remaining two concerts of her tour. She has ended up in the emergency room with severe pain cramps “for the third time in the last few weeks”.

Singer Lena Meyer-Landrut is currently on tour with her new album “Loyal to myself,” but she has now cancelled the remaining two concerts scheduled for this year. On Friday, she was supposed to perform in Stuttgart, and on Saturday in Echternach, Luxembourg. Her team announced this in an Instagram story. They posted an audio message from the singer to her fans: “It breaks my heart, and I wish so much that I didn’t have to record this here. But as you may have seen in the previous slide, I also have to cancel the remaining shows for health reasons this year,” says Meyer-Landrut.

The singer revealed that on Sunday she “landed in the emergency room with severe pain cramps for the third time in the last few weeks.” She continued, “And every time it hits me, my crew, the band, and of course you fans completely unexpectedly. And every time it’s a shock that is not nice for anyone.” Therefore, the singer has to “just pull the emergency brake here.”

In conclusion, Meyer-Landrut thanked and apologized to her fans. She is now taking a “short break” for her health. The ESC winner of 2010 had already cancelled several concerts in the past days and weeks, sometimes just before they were supposed to begin. In an interview with “Spiegel” back in May, she talked about her depression, saying: “I struggled for a long time with publicly expressing my diagnosis.” (APA/dpa/Red.)
