Lenovo has officially unveiled the ThinkPad P1 Gen 4, the next generation of its premium mobile workstation. On sale Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 4 will appear in July. The cost of a new laptop will be $ 2,000.

The ThinkPad P1 Gen 4 includes a front-facing FHD camera, Snapdragon X55 5G modem, a set of ports and connectors (Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI and 3.5mm) and a 90 Wh battery.

The new Lenovo Workstation features 16-inch screens, which at 16:10 aspect ratio take up the same space as 15-inch displays used to occupy. The available QHD + (25601600 dots) matrix with 100% coverage of the sRGB color space, as well as UHD + (38402400 dots) matrix with 100% coverage of the AdobeRGB color space, and the UHD + screen can be touch-sensitive.

Rob Herman, vice president and general manager of Worldwide Workstation and Client AI Business at Lenovo, explained that the new workstation model has a completely redesigned laptop base and improved cooling system. At the same time, the model retained its compact size and weight less than 2 kg.
