Less mail, streamlining… Why La Poste is preparing the end of daily rounds

The information looped. France Info announced this Friday morning that the Post Office would “launch experiments in March to eliminate daily rounds”. In total, 68 areas are concerned, both in rural and urban areas: Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine), Moissac (Tarn-et-Garonne), Joué-lès-Tours (Indre-et-Loire), or Epernay (Marne). “Only urgent mail, such as parcels, the press or registered mail, will be distributed daily”, complete our colleagues.
