We all need love no matter who we are. Pastor Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo has said that love is needed for everyone to have peace of mind and to make daily life meaningful and let love heal the world.
The Bishop of Oyo Diocese in Nigeria, Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo, made this known to Vatican News as the world celebrates Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14.
Emphasizing that true love is needed in every heart for our country and the world to heal from all wounds and to act with wisdom, Bishop Emmanuel said that this love will help us to rebuild a more just, compassionate, and loving world.
Bishop Emmanuel emphasized that love that is capable of overcoming greed, selfishness, violence and hatred should be extended to people in all walks of life and that such love never ends.
Emphasizing that we must become agents of true, life-giving love in all its forms, Father Emmanuel also emphasized, “Enlighten the world, advance, for love is God.”
