The Municipality of Jerusalem, through the Ariel company, is launching the ‘World Cup on the Bar’ project – celebratory screenings of the Qatar 2022 World Cup games in a selection of bars and pubs in the center of the city, which will be hosted by Israel’s best broadcasters and sports commentators, who will broadcast and interpret the game live.

The project, which will begin on 3.12.22 (Saturday) and will continue until the final match on 18.12, will give the residents of Jerusalem and its visitors a particularly attractive experience of watching the deciding games of the World Cup, from the round of 16 to the final match, and will also lead to the strengthening of the business space of the city center and of the Jerusalem bars and pubs.

The World Cup on the Bar project will be attended by the leading names in the field of sports media, including: Shlomo Sharaf, Giovanni Rosso, Yonatan Cohen, Ron Koffman, Liran Shechner, Sharon Davidovitz, Omri Afek, and Moti Pashchatsky. The games will be screened in all the bars and pubs that take part in the project On a huge screen when in every game, a broadcaster and a commentator will be hosted on the spot, who will accompany the game throughout.

Among the pubs participating in the ‘World Cup on the Bar’ project: Shoshana Bar, Avraham Hostel, Dublin, Sheshkan, The Toy, Nocturno, Bab El Yaman, Blaze Bar, Generation (formerly Putin), Birtno, Janet, Half Parrot and Beit Hoad.
