Letter 3: ‘Waiting even longer for home care’ | What you say

by time news

The budget for neighborhood care will be cut by another 600 million. The people who have to deal with community care, mostly seniors and the chronically ill, have their backs against the wall and have to wait a large part of their day until the home care can help them. This crazy situation was created by this same government because living at home as much as possible was the ideal, with home care as the ‘ideal’ solution. Nursing homes and homes for the elderly have been abolished and the result is deplorable. Soon it will be 24 hour diapers, 24 hour pajamas and don’t complain because then you shouldn’t get old.
