Bundesliga professional Patrik Schick from Bayer Leverkusen has been voted Czech Footballer of the Year for the second time in a row.
In a poll by national association FACR, the striker finished ahead of midfielder Antonin Barak, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina from Hellas Verona. The results were presented at a gala evening in Prague.
The decision rests with a committee made up of first division coaches, experienced national players, media representatives and association officials. In the current Bundesliga season, Schick has scored three goals in 14 appearances so far. (dpa)
