Justice Minister Yariv Levin referred to the reports in Srogim and News 12 about the rift between him and Netanyahu and claimed that it was fake news. “Negotiations like those proposed by Lapid and Gantz will not happen. This is not the mandate I received from the public”
Minister of Justice and leader of legal reform Yariv Levin commented this evening (Tuesday) on the revelation of the rift between him and Netanyahu, which was later also published on News 12 by Dafna Lial, and claimed that it was “ridiculous fake news”. In an interview with Ayla Hasson on Channel 13, Levin said : “I have the full backing of Likud, the coalition and the public to move forward with the reform.”
“Courtesy of the Legal Adviser to the Government,” added Minister Yariv Levin, “the Prime Minister is prevented from dealing with the issue of legal reform, and we do not discuss it. Regarding the details of the plan, there will always be someone who will look at it in a different way. This is precisely why the discussions are held in the Knesset.”

“As I said from the beginning, what will end up in the Knesset will not be one for one what I proposed,” Levin added. “From the beginning I came and went – I make a proposal and I think it is appropriate to have talks about it. I am ready to meet the heads of the camp Lapid and Gantz tonight. I think it is necessary to sit down to talk. What kind of thing is it to set conditions in order to talk?”
