“Levski” defeated CSKA 3:0 in the boys’ derby in the second edition of the “A1 Stars of the Future Under-14” volleyball tournament, which takes place in the “Levski Sofia” sports hall until May 12. “The Blues” won their match with “Lyulin” 2:1. And after beating “Beroe” cleanly on the first day, they collected 8 points.

“Izgrev” (Yablanitsa) decisively defeated CSKA and “Beroe” 3:0 each, and after recording a success over “Slavia” with 2:1 on the first day, they also have 8 points to their credit.

“Levski” and “Izgrev” face each other in the fourth round of the tournament on Sunday morning. In the last round, the “blues” meet “Slavia”, and the boys from Yablanitsa – “Lyulin”.

In the second day for the boys, Slavia recorded two successes with 2:1 each over Lyulin and Beroe to collect a total of 5 points in the provisional standings. Lyulin has 3, CSKA 2 and Beroe with 1 point before the final two rounds.

The boys’ matches on May 12 are at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The battle for first place in the girls was also tied after the second day’s matches were played. “Levski” and “Maritsa” each have 7 points, VASK has 5, and “Miner” (Pernik) has 4.

“Levski”, which had defeated CSKA on the first day, won with a clear 3:0 against “Minor”, but then suffered its first loss – 1:2 against VASK.

“Maritsa” suffered a 1:2 loss against “Miner” on the first day, but won 3:0 each over VASK and CPVK in the second game.

“Miner” added to its success over the Plovdiv girls and 2:1 over CSKA and is currently defeated only by “Levski”.

CSKA, on the other hand, also lost to CPVK with 1:2.
