The Polish player will sign a four-year contract with a €500m release clause.
The former Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, has signed for FC Barcelona until 2027 in exchange of €45 millionas announced on Tuesday by the Catalan club.
“Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski for a total of 45 million euros plus 5 in variables,” the Blaugrana club wrote in a statement, without further clarifying the variable part of the transfer.

Lewandowski, 33, has joined his teammates in Miami (United States), where Barça plans to play a series of pre-season friendlies, the first of which takes place on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. local time (Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. Paris time).
Is he fourth signing of the summer for Barcelonaafter Franck Kessie (AC Milan) and Andreas Christensen (Chelsea), who came for free, and Raphinha (Leeds), who was signed for €70m.

The Polish international left the Bayern Munich after eight years in Bavaria, where he won a Champions League (2020), eight German championships and a Club World Cup (2020) and was named FIFA Player of the Year twice (2020 and 2021).
