Barcelona: Barcelona football star Robert Lewandowski’s watch worth Rs 74 lakh was stolen. Police arrested a man who stole Lewandowski’s watch while signing autographs before training.
The 33-year-old football striker Lewandowski went to training in Barcelona yesterday. Then the fans stopped him and bought his autograph. Then a young man approached Lewandowski. Suddenly, the young man grabbed Lewandowski’s watch and ran away.
Lewandowski chased the young man in a car. But he couldn’t catch it. Lewandowski’s lost watch was valued at around Rs 74 lakh. A complaint was lodged with the Katlan police in this regard. Acting swiftly, the police nabbed the youth in question within an hour. The police arrested a 19-year-old youth who was hiding behind a bush on the ground and confiscated the watch from him.
