LG Unveils AI-Powered Home Solutions for Middle East and Africa at InnoFest 2026MEA

LG Electronics is set to showcase a comprehensive range of artificial intelligence-driven home appliances specifically designed for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region at LG InnoFest 2026MEA, taking place in Abu Dhabi from February 3-5. The exhibition, themed “Innovation, Forward Together,” will highlight advancements in clothing care, kitchen technology, built-in appliances, and cleaning solutions, all emphasizing user-centric design and regional relevance.

Return of a Regional Showcase

After a seven-year pause, LG InnoFest returns as the company’s premier regional event for key partners and media. According to a company release, the event is envisioned as a “festival” celebrating innovation, collaboration, and LG’s core “Life’s Good” philosophy, underscoring its long-term commitment to and expanding footprint in the MEA markets.

AI Drives Next-Generation Laundry Solutions

LG is bolstering its laundry offerings in the MEA region with appliances that combine increased capacity, premium aesthetics, and its proprietary AI Core-Tech. These new models promise a more intelligent and efficient laundry experience, featuring innovations like AI Wash and AI Dry.

Leading the charge is the award-winning 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, a premium all-in-one washer-dryer boasting the largest capacity currently available. The company is also expanding its LG WashTower™ lineup, introducing a new 25-inch model to complement existing 24-inch and 27-inch options, catering to a wider range of installation spaces. LG WashTower products integrate washers and dryers into a single vertical unit, optimizing usability and space efficiency.

Debuting at InnoFest, the new 27-inch WashCombo™ is tailored for larger families, offering a substantial 25-kilogram washing capacity and a 21-kilogram drying capacity. Equipped with LG’s DUAL Inverter HeatPump™ technology, the model is engineered for stable, effective drying and improved energy efficiency. LG’s laundry range also includes a new front-load washer featuring a sleek, flat design, an integrated LCD display, and the advanced AI Direct Drive™ (AI DD™) motor, which optimizes washing performance based on load weight and fabric type.

Beyond residential solutions, LG is also presenting commercial laundry solutions, including app- and API-based tools for remote monitoring and management for its partners.

Kitchen Innovation: Fit & Max

LG’s new kitchen appliances, developed under the “Fit & Max” concept, prioritize both built-in aesthetics and intelligent, user-focused functionality. In the refrigerator category, the LG InstaView™ French Door model features a Zero Clearance hinge for a seamless fit in any kitchen, alongside AI Fresh technology for optimized cooling based on usage patterns. A new bottom freezer model also incorporates the Zero Clearance hinge and a modern design. LG’s refrigerator lineup at InnoFest 2026 MEA reinforces its position as the No.1 refrigerator brand in the region.

The flagship SolarDOM™ All-in-One Microwave Oven has undergone its first full redesign in over a decade. The new model adopts a semi-built-in design and replaces physical buttons with a 2.4-inch LCD interface. Cooking convenience is enhanced with up to 60 Auto Cook menus and new features like Air Fry. Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote control and monitoring via the LG ThinQ app.

The latest dishwasher lineup features QuadWash® Pro, a technology that utilizes micro-scale air bubbles to improve cleaning performance and reduce cycle times, delivering spotless dishes. AI SenseClean technology automatically adjusts wash times and rinse cycles based on contamination levels for optimal results. The 1-Hour Wash & Dry function will be available across the entire lineup, completing a full cycle in as little as 39 minutes.

Built-In Kitchens Tailored for the MEA Market

The new LG built-in collection is specifically designed to meet the preferences of local customers, strengthening the company’s position in the premium kitchen segment. The Wide Combi built-in refrigerator has been expanded to 690 millimeters in width (up from 540 millimeters), increasing capacity to 385 liters (up from 233 liters). The Inverter ProBake™ built-in oven utilizes a BLDC motor-driven bidirectional fan to ensure faster, more even heating.

Total Cleaning Solutions with AI

LG’s total cleaning solutions, incorporating advanced AI features, will also be on display. Highlights include the LG Wet & Dry stick vacuum with an automatic water supply system and a new robot vacuum equipped with 100-degree Celsius steam mopping and a space-saving, concealed station.

“LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimized solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa,” stated Hyoung Sub Ji, LG West Africa Subsidiary President. “Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.”
