LG launches new 2022 TV line with 42- and 97-inch OLED models for the first time in the world

LG has unveiled at the CES 2022 exhibition in the US part of its new TV line for 2022, which includes new OLED screens from the G2 and C2 series that arrive for the first time in the world in sizes of 42 and 97 inches, in addition to new LG QNED Mini LED models and interface webOS 22 updated.

LG’s new OLED TVs replace the 2021 models, as they come with the company’s OLED evo technology for improved brightness and picture quality from standard OLED screens. The new models use LG’s fifth generation α9 processors for improved image quality and AI Sound Pro technology to create 7.1.2 surround sound in the new models.

In the new OLED TV line, it will be possible to find the premium G2 series, which will come with models in sizes 55, 65 and 77 inches, similar to the previous generation, but also in size 83 inches, and for the first time in the world, also 97 inches. Next to it will also come the mainstream C2 series in sizes of 48, 55, 65, 77, 83 inches and for the first time in the world also in a size of 42 inches.

Along with the new OLED models, LG has also announced the refresh of the QNED Mini LED series that uses the company’s Quantum Dot NanoCell technology, starting with the QNED90 series, all models will come with 100% color consistency so that the viewer Will be able to see the same image quality every time.
