Ecuadorian footballers Darío Aimar and Bryan Angulo were the protagonists in The Strongest’s thrashing of Huachipato of Chile in a match valid for matchday 5 of the Libertadores (group C).
The Bolivian team beat Huachipato 4-0 with Bryan Angulo scoring the final 4-0 at minute 90+1 (penalty). The team led by Ismael Rescalvo (former coach of Emelec) qualified for the round of 16 after reaching 10 points in five games played.
“Cuco” Angulo has scored three goals with the “atigrado” team, his first being in the current edition of the Libertadores.
Former Barcelona defender, Darío Aimar, played the entire match, being a bastion in his team’s defense. The Strongest will visit Gremio in the final match of Group C, a match that does not have an exact date due to the torrential rains that are falling in the city of Porto Alegre.
