Libya participates in an economic forum in Istanbul

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Janah, participated in the opening of the 23rd Turkish-Arab Economic Cooperation Forum in Istanbul, the 2nd Exhibition for Medical and Medical Tourism, and the 2nd Exhibition for Cosmetics and Medical Equipment, organized by the Joint Cooperation Association for Turkish and Arab Countries “Trapp Expo”.

During this session of the forum, “Libya was chosen as the guest of honor, with the participation of more than 150 specialized companies and more than 300 experts in various medical fields.”

During his speech, he expressed Minister of Health“He expressed his hope that the forum would succeed in expanding the scope of cooperation and partnership and enhancing innovation in the health field among the participating countries, which would contribute to improving health services and raising the quality of life for citizens.”

He added, “The health challenges we face today do not know geographical borders, and this requires us to enhance cooperation between all countries and stakeholders. From this standpoint, we must work together to build strong and flexible health systems, capable of adapting to crises and achieving health justice for all, by building partnerships between ministries of health and other sectors, including the private sector, to achieve the common goals that we all seek.”

The opening session was attended by more than 700 people, including a number of Arab ambassadors and consuls in Turkey, heads of Arab chambers of commerce, businessmen, doctors, and specialists in the health and medical tourism sector.
