Libyan-Italian Economic Forum to start on October 29

The Preparatory Committee for the Libyan-Italian Economic Forum held its third meeting today, Sunday, at the Cabinet Office in Tripoli, in the presence of the technical committee formed to discuss the proposed activities. October 29 was set as the official date for the launch of the forum’s activities in the capital, Tripoli.

During the meeting, the committee presented the proposed economic salons throughout the days of the forum and the participating Libyan-Italian parties, and they were approved. The cultural activities proposed by the Italian side and the equipment required to implement them were also reviewed.

Coordination took place between the General Authority for Exhibitions, the Ministry of Culture, and the Italian Embassy to arrange the necessary preparations. The proposed exhibition pavilions were approved on the Libyan and Italian sides for the private and public sectors in both countries.

According to what the Government of National Unity published on its Facebook page, “the activities of the Libyan-Italian Forum in this session will focus on the fields of olive oil production, marine fishing, mining, medium-sized oil industries, technical training, and scientific research.”
