In this scheme the policyholders can invest the entire amount in one installment and get higher income or pension. In this plan the policyholder is given the option to choose between single life and joint life annuity.

LIC New Jeevan Shanti plan has a minimum purchase price of Rs. 1,50,000 and there is no cap on the maximum purchase price, in which the policyholder must be between a minimum of 30 years and a maximum of 79 years to contribute. The minimum vesting age is fixed at 31 and the maximum vesting age is 80. LIC offers policyholders nine annuity options to choose from, annual interest rates are fixed at the inception of the policy, policyholders can choose the option as per their needs and circumstances.
You can join the LIC New Jeevan Shanti scheme either online or offline. To enroll in this scheme through online visit the official website of LIC www.licindia.in. You can avail this plan through offline through LIC agent or visit your nearest LIC branch. Also, policyholders can invest jointly in this scheme. That means you can invest in this scheme along with family members like grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren, spouse or siblings.
