Lidl and Aldi fruit yoghurts recalled due to ‘foreign body risk’

Be careful if you have recently shopped at Lidl and Aldi. The two groups of supermarkets on Thursday recalled fruit yogurts put on sale in recent days, reports Rappel Conso, the government site which centralizes product alerts. The cause: a risk of the presence of “metallic foreign bodies” in yoghurts.

At Lidl, these are fruit yoghurts with Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Cherry pieces from the Envia brand, sold in packs of eight. They were marketed on Wednesday and Thursday in around sixty brand stores, mainly located in the east of France. The full list of affected stores is available on Rappel Conso. The batches affected by this recall have a best before date of April 20 and April 26.

In Aldi supermarkets, on the other hand, all points of sale in France are concerned. The recalled product is a pack of eight fruit yogurts with pieces Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Cherry of the brand Milsani. Again, the batches concerned have a use-by date of April 20 and April 26. They were marketed until Wednesday.

If you have purchased any of the products concerned, do not consume them and return them to the point of sale. You will then be refunded.
